Le apparizioni di Fatima e la seconda guerra mondiale

The apparitions of Fatima are usually read as a matter concerning Russian communism. Donato Maglio, writing as a historian, argues that the message also speaks of German Nazism and of the two world wars.

The book faces the hardest objection — why would Our Lady have spoken only of communism, saying nothing of an equally terrible persecution? — and, drawing on new documents, rereads the central part of the message as referring also to the Nazi persecution of Christians and to that “kind of Holocaust of Polish and European Catholicism” which historically precedes the Final Solution.
